VETERINARIAN & OWNER

Dr. Hannah is the dedicated owner of Corowa Veterinary Clinic. Originally from Bairnsdale, she moved to Wagga Wagga after finishing school to study Veterinary Medicine at Charles Sturt University. Hannah graduated in 2017 and began her career in a busy mixed practice in Ballarat. It was there that her love for all aspects of mixed veterinary work truly developed, particularly her passion for complex medical cases that require a thoughtful and thorough approach. 

Hannah’s favourite part of being a veterinarian is witnessing the joy of pets reuniting with their owners after recovering from a stay in hospital.

In 2020, Hannah and her husband relocated to the Riverina to return to his family farm. During this time, she worked as a locum veterinarian at a range of clinics before taking over ownership of Corowa Veterinary Clinic in May 2021. Since then, she has embraced both the challenges and rewards of running a business while also navigating the adventure of becoming a mum along the way.

Hannah takes great pride in supporting her team, and one of her favourite parts of being a business owner is watching her staff grow and evolve.

Outside of the clinic, Hannah is a proud mum to two wonderful boys, William and Edward, and one four-legged princess, Frankie, the family’s beloved German Shorthaired Pointer. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family on the farm and making the most of the little spare time she has.

Hannah is excited about the future of Corowa Veterinary Clinic and is proud to offer the region high-quality, modern, and compassionate veterinary care.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

Dr. Amy is one of the senior veterinarians at Corowa Veterinary Clinic.

Growing up in Sydney, she naturally chose to complete her Veterinary Studies at The University of Sydney. After graduating in 2012, Amy began her career in a busy mixed practice in Forbes, NSW, where she spent a total of eight years, briefly stepping away to work in the UK and gain international experience.

Following her time in Forbes, Amy travelled along the east coast of Australia, working as a locum at various clinics, including Corowa Vet Clinic. Fortunately for us, Amy decided that Corowa Vet Clinic was the right fit for her and made the move to settle along the Murray, taking on a permanent role with the team. 

Amy’s main interests lie in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She’s passionate about staying up to date with the latest therapies and is committed to ensuring that pets in regional areas receive the same high standard of care as those in the cities.

Amy has a soft spot for misunderstood felines, making her our go-to vet for our feline friends!

Amy shares her home in Wahgunyah with her fiancé, Matt, a local agronomist. They recently welcomed their first child, a beautiful daughter named Grace. Their family also includes two four-legged children: Biccie, an adorable black Labrador who can stare into your soul and convince you she’s starving, and Kevin, an overly sassy Burmese cat who keeps the household entertained.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Dr. Amy on the team, caring for the pets of Corowa and surrounding communities.

SENIOR VETERINARY NURSE

Aimz is one of our senior veterinary nurses at Corowa Veterinary Clinic. She grew up in Albury and now spends her weekends and holidays at the family farm in Mt Beauty, having previously spent several years living in Perth before returning to the area.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, having worked in the veterinary profession since 2008. We are so lucky she decided to join us in 2021. Her passions are canine behaviour, nutritional advice, and neonatal care. Aimz has also been running puppy classes for 12 years – we hope she will be able to showcase her knowledge and skills in this area at our clinic in the near future.

Aimz has a beautiful little girl, Annabelle who keeps her very busy at home, along with a beautiful bunch of energetic dogs including Indie the Border Collie’s, Inka the Vizsla x Border Collie and Layla the GSP. Plus some very fluffy rescue cats Chester and Odie.

In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her partner and family, fishing, 4WD-driving, and
relaxing at the farm.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Aimz on our team. Her dedication, knowledge, and compassionate care make her an invaluable part of the Corowa Veterinary Clinic family.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

Zoë joined the Corowa Veterinary Clinic team in February 2023. Originally from a farm near Jerilderie, she graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2017 and has since worked predominantly in mixed practice throughout the Riverina.

She finds rural veterinary work both rewarding and diverse, and her career has included locum positions that have taken her across Australia, from central Australia and the Top End to North Queensland and the Surf Coast.

In the clinic, Zoë has a particular interest in small animal surgery and emergency care. Out on the road, she enjoys equine work and is our go-to vet for horses. She also has a strong interest in herd and flock disease investigation, always aiming to get to the root of the problem.

Zoë has a beautiful wire-haired pointer named Ted. Outside of work, Zoë can often be spotted walking Ted or enjoying the region’s excellent local produce and wineries. She loves outdoor activities and spending time making improvements to her property in Rutherglen.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Zoë as part of our team. With her positive, compassionate approach and broad expertise, she is a valued veterinarian for the pets and livestock of Corowa and the surrounding areas.

RECEPTIONIST

Sarah is the friendly face who welcomes clients and their pets at our reception desk. Originally from North Wales, she spent 20 years working with small animals and horses before relocating to Australia in 2002 with her daughter, Hannah.

After settling in North-East Victoria five years ago, Sarah has now fulfilled her dream of building a home on a beautiful property near Rutherglen. She shares her slice of the countryside with her English Pointer, Mia, and two beloved horses, Gary and Rolo.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah is a massage and Reiki therapist, offering treatments for both people and animals at The Dome on her piece of paradise. Sarah enjoys her natural horsemanship and living off the land.

Sarah is dedicated to making every visit to the clinic a welcoming and positive experience for both pets and their owners (treats and pats included). Sarah has been an amazing addition to the team, and we love seeing her continue to grow and develop her skills in the clinic.

VETERINARY NURSE

Meagan is a proud Corowa local who began her veterinary nursing career in 2020 and joined the Corowa Veterinary Clinic team in January 2023. In 2024, she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Meagan is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients and building strong relationships with their families. Her professional interests include preventative care and weight management, and she also enjoys supporting senior pets as they age,  helping them stay comfortable and maintain a great quality of life.

At home, Meagan shares life with her partner and daughter, along with a busy household that includes two Sphynx cats, a Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless Dog), a German Shepherd and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Outside the clinic, Meagan enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and exploring local wineries and restaurants.

Meagan brings a warm, fun, and caring energy to our team, and we’re thrilled to have her as part of the Corowa Veterinary Clinic family.

VETERINARY NURSE

Elly is from Jindera and is currently studying for her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is passionate about building a career dedicated to animal care and welfare. She has always had a strong love for animals and is excited to continue developing her skills and knowledge within the veterinary industry.

At home, Elly has two loving dogs, Bo a German Shorthaired Pointer and Tessa a German Wirehaired Pointer who keep her busy. They have helped fuel her interest in animal health and hands-on care.

Outside of the clinic, Elly enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping and going on adventures.

ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

Aimee joins us after graduating from Charles Sturt University and spending the last few years in small and large animal practice in Albury and North East Victoria. Aimee grew up in Queensland but has lived on the border for over a decade now and loves the lifestyle it provides.

Aimee’s interests are varied across small and large animals, with particular interests in small animal surgery, emergency cases, and behaviour. She also has completed extra training to become a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian and she is passionate about supporting owners through end-of-life care for their beloved pets.

Aimee also loves getting out of the clinic and especially enjoys large animal reproduction and herd health.

Outside of work, you can find Aimee out and about with her partner, Jake, and their two kelpies, Darby and Ryder. Any free time is spent either on the river, at the weir or out in the high country, exploring, fishing or 4WDing.

Aimee is excited to continue to develop her skills while helping the pets of the Corowa community.

VETERNARY NURSE

Mikki has spent several years working as a Veterinary Nurse across a variety of veterinary settings. Her career began predominantly in large animal practice, with extensive experience in equine and cattle health and veterinary care, before expanding into the equine industry where she worked in a busy equine hospital.

While Mikki enjoys caring for patients of all shapes and sizes and loves working with companion animals, she has a particular passion for large animal health, equine medicine, and rehabilitation. She enjoys combining her practical experience with compassionate patient care to help animals achieve the best possible outcomes.

Growing up around horses, Mikki has been involved in the equestrian world from a young age and has a passion for performance horses and competed nationally in Reining and strives to one day compete in America. Outside of the clinic, she can often be found riding her many horses, trick riding, campdrafting, or exploring the outdoors with her Kelpie, Sandy. Whether it's a day in the saddle or a hike down to the river with Sandy and the horses, animals have always been at the centre of her life.

Known around the clinic for her love of a good laugh, Mikki is the resident jokester and is always ready with a (sometimes groan-worthy but enthusiastically delivered) dad joke to brighten someone's day. More often than not, she's the one laughing the hardest at her own jokes, even if everyone else is just rolling their eyes. 

Mikki is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and their pets, and is proud to be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care.

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Originally from Scone, NSW, India recently made the move to Albury after spending three years living in Canada. She has a passion for travel and loves exploring new places, with a particular appreciation for the outdoors. In her spare time, India enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and making the most of every opportunity to get out and experience something new.

As the clinic’s Marketing Coordinator, India loves connecting with clients and showcasing the incredible work of the team. She enjoys creating engaging content, educating pet owners, and sharing the stories that make the clinic such a special place. Combining her creativity with her passion for building relationships makes her role incredibly rewarding, and she’s proud to be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient and client.
